The declared ultimate goal of the Jenny Craig plan is to help change lifestyle and eating habits of participants so that by the time they have reached their pre-chosen goal weight, they no longer need to rely on pre packaged food, pre-planned menus or consultations to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Pros: The Jenny Craig diet gets you started in a weight loss program/diet and then slowly teaches you how to eat so that eventually you won’t need prepackaged or preplanned menus and meals to lose weight. I commend this diet program for teaching people how to maintain their weight after completed with the diet. Many other diet plans available on the market simply leave people to figure out for themselves how to keep the weight off after losing it. I actually believe many other diet programs hope that after people go off their diet, they will eventually gain the weight back and become a repeat customer to lose the weight again.

Cons: Cost of food is much more expensive than grocery stores. Inconvenience in visiting local Jenny Craig centers each week, assuming one is actually located in your city.
